Student Cap and Gown Information

Purchase a Cap & Gown

Stop in the University Store (lower level) during regular hours to purchase your regalia M-F 10am-5pm.  If you are not in the Pittsburgh area, you can have a friend purchase for you. 

Please provide your height.

Masters students will additionally need your andrew id.

Regalia will also be available for purchase during Commencement Weekend May 9-11. 8:30am-5pm Lower Level, University Store

Ordering Cap & Gown Online -- ONLINE ORDERING HAS NOW CLOSED

Please click here to order your cap and gown. Regalia orders are handled by our cap & gown vendor, Oak Hall. Any questions about your order should be sent directly to Oak Hall. Regalia orders can be placed until April 5, 2025 to be shipped directly to you.  No online regalia orders can be placed after that date.  You may also stop in the University Store (lower level) during regular hours to purchase your regalia.

Custom Regalia (Deadline to place Custom Regalia for May 9-11 Commencement is March 1, 2025)

Some PhD students prefer to purchase custom regalia. We recommend this option for those who plan to attend numerous ceremonies that require academic regalia. If you'd like to order custom regalia, please visit our Custom Regalia page. Please note, there is a 8-10 week lead time for custom orders. Orders are placed directly with our regalia vendor, Oak Hall. Please contact Oak Hall directly with any questions about your order.
